Looking Forward to Experiencing Rome

I am so incredibly excited to get my feet wet exploring all the different parts of Rome.  I've been here for a day but have yet to do any real exploring (I've been catching up on sleep and getting situated in our new apartment).  I'm really excited to learn about Roman history, modern Rome, and Roman art and Architecture but I am probably the most excited to experience and learn about all of the food.  I was really excited when reading about Italian foods and eating on the way here.  I hope to learn a lot about Italian food and it's preparation.  I would like to learn how to cook Italian foods well.  With all of the produce, pasta, and meats being sold right below our apartment in Campo de Fiori, getting the materials should be easy!  Anyway, I am incredibly excited to jump into things in about three hours!!!
